The Concept of the Solstice Advanced Communications Company is to provide the highest quality and most technologically advanced
communication equipment to the client. The Company requires an imaginative image for the 21st century related to the infinite
potentials of cyberspace. Following the emerging trend in post-modern architecture - subtle use of classic architectural styles
in combination with contemporary designs - subtle styles were borrowed from a timeless structure of technological advancement
that is still beyond understanding and comprehension of most humans... Stonehenge. The use of simple column and beam structure,
and the contrasting while parallel image of technological advancement is what has been borrowed. The name solstice comes from
an unexplained occurrence that happens twice a year on Earth and at the Stonehenge when the planets align in our solor system.

The simple column and beam design allowed the possibilty of mobilization if required, as well as expandability. The Kiosk
can be made as a permanent or mobile fixture, but would work best indoors. The design also makes use of an interactive area
where customers can test new equipment and how it works with computers and the internet. The design will make use of materials
and finishes tha will be appearing as tommorows standards. The overall concept will make the communication products and services
accessible to the technological generation.
